Abstract

To provide an oil-in-water-type emulsion composition which allows easy spreading during application, can be applied without slipping, adheres firmly to the skin, and prevents white appearance.SOLUTION: An oil-in-water-type emulsion composition comprises the following components (A), (B), (C), (D), and (E): (A) a cationically modified clay mineral substituted with a quaternary ammonium ion, (B) a polyether-modified silicone in an amount of 0.1 to 10 mass%, (C) a sorbitan fatty acid ester, (D) a volatile hydrocarbon oil, and (E) a silicone-free coloring pigment treated with an amino acid, wherein the mass ratio (B) / (C) of component (B) to component (C) is from 1 to 300.SELECTED DRAWING: None
