Virtual golf support device and method, and computer program

By designing virtual golf support devices and methods, using deep learning models to identify and calculate golf trajectories, the problem of simulating golf trajectories in small spaces is solved, the possibility of multiple users enjoying virtual golf games at home is realized, and an effective training and scoring system is provided.

To provide a virtual golf support device allowing multiple users to practice golfing and enjoy a virtual golf game.SOLUTION: A virtual golf support device includes: a golf environment simulation device formed to allow hitting of a golf ball and movement of a golf ball by the hitting to become possible physically; an image acquisition module for acquiring an image of a golf ball; and a processor for recognizing a golf ball via a deep learning model on the basis of a golf ball image acquired by the image acquisition module at a point of time when the golf ball is hit on the golf environment simulation device and determining an initial speed and direction of the golf ball, and determining a hitting position at which the golf ball is hit in a virtual play environment for a user's virtual golf and a moving path of the golf ball on the basis of the determined initial speed and direction, and displaying the determined moving path.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
