Abstract
To measure the behavior of a guide wire and notify an operator of the measurement result.SOLUTION: A catheter system 200 comprises: a guide wire 10; a rod-like torquer 30 which is connected to the guide wire 10, and which is grasped by an operator when operating the guide wire 10; a strain gauge 70 provided to the torquer 30, for detecting the strain of the torquer 30; an analog-digital converter for converting an analog signal which is a detection signal outputted from the strain gauge 70 into a digital signal; a processing unit for processing the digital signal so as to measure the behavior of the guide wire 10; and an output unit for outputting information on the behavior of the guide wire 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
