Synthetic resin cap and beverage product

Abstract

To provide a synthetic resin cap that can ensure the hermetic sealing of a container containing contents even when the internal pressure of the container increases, and a beverage product using the same.SOLUTION: A synthetic resin cap according to the invention, which is attached to the mouth portion of a container, has a top plate portion and a cylindrical side wall portion continued to the peripheral edge thereof. The inner circumferential surface of the cylindrical side wall portion is provided with a plurality of screw threads arranged in sequence along a helical axis circumscribing the inner circumferential surface, the plurality of screw threads being divided into a first screw thread group and a second screw thread group. The first and second screw thread groups each include two or more screw threads. The screw threads included in the first screw thread group are located on the top plate portion side along the helical axis from the segment point located on the helical axis, and their height is less than a reference height. The height of the threads included in the second screw thread group is equal to or higher than the reference height. The height of at least one thread included in the first screw thread group is lower than the reference height, and the height of at least one thread included in the second screw thread group is higher than the reference height.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
