Remaining life determination device for electrical equipment

Abstract

To provide a remaining life determination device for electrical instrument capable of appropriately determining the remaining life of an oil-cooled electrical instrument due to thermal degradation.SOLUTION: A remaining life determination device comprises: a first acquisition unit configured to acquire an impedance value of an insulation portion (Step S1); a second acquisition unit configured to acquire a dielectric loss tangent value of the insulation portion (Step S2); a correlation database configured to previously define a relation between an oil influence amount being a difference between an impedance value when air is interposed in the insulation portion and an impedance value when oil is interposed in the insulation portion and a dielectric loss tangent value corresponding to the amount of oil interposed in the insulation portion and a correction unit configured to correct the impedance value acquired by the first acquisition unit on the basis of the dielectric loss tangent value acquired by the second acquisition unit and the oil influence amount (Step S3); and a remaining life determination unit configured to estimate the total heat input of the insulation portion on the basis of the corrected impedance (Step S4), and determine the remaining life of the electrical instrument on the basis of the estimated total heat input (Step S5).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
