Abstract

To solve a problem in which a switch may not be normally turned on or off.SOLUTION: A panel unit 6 functions as an operating unit of a printer 1, and the panel unit 6 comprises a housing 60, a substrate 70 held on the housing 60, and a surface sheet 80 attached to the housing 60. The substrate 70 is provided with a switch 71 that is turned on or off by being pressed at a pressing target part 72. The surface sheet 80 is provided with operating button parts 81 each including a pressing part 82 that presses the pressing target part 72, and a deformation part 83 that deforms to allow displacement in a -A direction of the pressing part 82. The housing 60 is provided with recesses 62 opening toward the operating button parts 81 at positions facing the operating button parts 81. The deformation part 83 has a ring groove shape formed along an outer peripheral edge 82e of the pressing part 82 and projecting in the -A direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
