Abstract

To provide a residential building of a multiple dwelling house having a building structure superior in design, while satisfying a standard of two paths for evacuation by a request of Article 121 of the Fire Service Act.SOLUTION: In a residential building, each floor is partitioned into residential spaces on the right and left sides through at least a boundary space, each of the residential spaces is independent dwelling, and an entrance / exit accessible from respective residential parts is formed in the boundary spaces, a central staircase is provided as the entrance / exit to the upper and lower floor residential parts to form an entrance / exit route to the residential parts of residents through the central staircase in the central part of the boundary space, and the entrance / exit route to each floor is formed by providing an internal staircase for access to each floor as necessary. Evacuation routes in two directions is secured which enable evacuation in two directions in an emergency, as required by Article 121 of the Fire Service Act.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
