Lever-type connector

Abstract

To provide a lever-type connector which can further improve performance for inserting / removing a housing into / from a mating housing.SOLUTION: A lever-type connector 2 has a housing 31 which is inserted into / removed from a fitting recess 5121 formed on a mating housing 51 of a mating connector 5. The lever-type connector 2 also has a lever 4 which is rotatably fitted to the housing 31 so as to assist the insertion / removal of the housing 31 into / from the mating housing 51. The lever 4 has: a first lever 41 rotatably fitted to the housing 31; and a second lever 42 which is fitted in a manner movable relative to the first lever 41. The lever-type connector 2 is formed such that the movement of the second lever 42 relative to the first lever 41 may be restricted when a lever length D1 of the lever 4 is made longer than a lever length D2 of the first lever 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
