Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to a resin composition for automobile parts (hereinafter also simply referred to as "resin composition"), a molded article obtained by molding the same, and an automobile part. [Background technology]

[0002] In recent years, there has been a strong demand for lighter automobiles in order to reduce carbon dioxide emissions. Lighter electric vehicles are also desired because lighter weight improves driving distance. To reduce the weight of these automobiles (including electric vehicles), synthetic resins have been used as materials for automobile parts. Among these, polyolefin resins such as polypropylene resins are widely used not only for their light weight but also for their properties (Patent Documents 1 and 2). [0019] <Resin composition for automobile parts> First, the resin composition for automobile parts of the present invention will be described. The resin composition for automobile parts of the present invention contains a synthetic resin and, as a nucleating agent, a compound containing a monovalent group represented by the following general formula (1).

[0020] [ka]

[0021] (In the general formula (1), X represents a divalent group, and Ar 1 and Ar 2 each independently represents an unsubstituted or substituted phenyl group, and * represents a bonding site with another atom.)

[0022] The resin composition for automobile parts of this embodiment has improved properties of synthetic resins.

[0023] (synthetic resin) Examples of synthetic resins contained in the resin composition for automobile parts of this embodiment include thermoplastic resins and thermosetting resins.

[0024] Examples of thermoplastic resins include crystalline resins such as polyolefin resins, polyamide resins, polyester resins, polyacetal resins, polylactic acid, and polyphenylene sulfide; amorphous resins such as polycarbonate resins, styrene resins, acrylic resins, urethane resins, halogen-containing resins, petroleum resins, coumarone resins, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, and polyphenylene oxide; thermoplastic elastomers; and carbon fiber reinforced thermoplastic resins (CFRTP).

[0026] The synthetic resin may be one type alone or two or more types in combination, and may be a copolymer or a polymer alloy.

[0027] In the resin composition for automobile parts of this embodiment, the synthetic resin is preferably a thermoplastic resin, more preferably a crystalline resin, and even more preferably contains a polyolefin-based resin.
