To provide a position / attitude detection system capable of improving detection accuracy of a position and an attitude of a vehicle stopped in a stopping area.SOLUTION: A position / attitude detection system 10 comprises: a camera 11 which is installed around a stopping area A, and captures images of an area including the stopping area to acquire image data; a laser sensor 12 which is installed adjacent to the camera around the stopping area, and measures a distance to a truck 2 stopped in the stopping area to acquire point group data; a vehicle presence determination unit 20 which determines whether the truck appears in the image data of the camera; a feature extraction unit 23 which extracts a cargo bed 3 of the truck from the image data of the camera when determined that the truck appears in the image data of the camera; a point group extraction unit 24 which extracts a point group corresponding to the cargo bed from the point group data of the laser sensor; and a position / attitude calculation unit 25 which calculates a position and an attitude of the truck based on the point group corresponding to the cargo bed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
