AI Technical Summary

Technical Problem

The existing fluid machines face issues with slippage between the rotating shaft and the inner ring due to insufficient frictional force when starting the electric motor, particularly during high torque conditions.

Method used

The fluid machine incorporates a groove in the rotating shaft that intersects with the axial direction of the shaft, featuring an elastic member compressed in the radial direction to enhance contact area and friction, with inclined surfaces to restrict movement and chamfered portions to minimize slippage.

Benefits of technology

The solution effectively suppresses slippage between the inner ring and rotating shaft by increasing the contact area and frictional force, preventing slip even under high torque conditions.

Abstract

To provide a fluid machine capable of suppressing slippage between an inner ring and a rotating shaft.SOLUTION: In a hydrogen circulation pump 10, a seal ring 71 is provided between an inner ring 62 of a fourth bearing 61 and a rotating shaft 17 to seal between the inner ring 62 and the rotating shaft 17. The seal ring 71 imparts energizing force to the inner ring 62 and the rotating shaft 17 to separate the inner ring 62 and the rotating shaft 17 from each other in a radial direction of the rotating shaft 17. The seal ring 71 is disposed in an endless attachment groove 172 formed on the rotating shaft 17. The attachment groove 172 crosses an axial direction X and crosses an axially perpendicular direction V in a plan view of the rotating shaft 17 from the radial direction of the rotating shaft 17. The endless seal ring 71 compressed in the radial direction of the rotating shaft 17 to suppress slippage between the inner ring 62 and the rotating shaft 17 and separating the inner ring 62 and the rotating shaft 17 from each other in the radial direction is provided in the attachment groove 172.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
