Article stacking / supplying device

Abstract

To provide an article stacking / supplying device that supplies articles to a rotating belt mechanism that stacks articles using a plurality of conveying sections, and that can suppress malfunctions when supplying articles to the rotating belt mechanism.SOLUTION: An article stacking and supplying device (10) includes a rotating belt mechanism (200) and multiple conveying units (100). The rotating belt mechanism includes multiple pulleys (220), a belt (210) that is stretched around the multiple pulleys and conveyed in a conveying direction (A), and multiple plates (230) that extend from the outer surface (212) of the belt in a direction perpendicular to the outer surface of the belt and are arranged along the belt conveying direction. Storage spaces (S) are formed between adjacent plates in the belt conveying direction. The conveying units supply articles (P) to the storage spaces of the rotating belt mechanism. Each of the multiple conveying units is associated with a different pulley and supplies articles to the storage spaces between the plates that are widened by the corresponding pulley.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
