Abstract
To provide a rear-view mirror structure that is able to facilitate a fastening task for holding a spherical body for tilting a mirror.SOLUTION: A ball stud 28 of a mirror stay 27 is inserted between a mirror holder 12 and a front cover 16. A spherical body 28a of the ball stud 28 is rotatably held by a retainer 21 fastened to the mirror holder 12. The mirror holder 12 includes a holder-side recess 13. The retainer 21 includes a retainer-side recess 22 facing the holder-side recess 13. The retainer 21 and the mirror holder 12 are fastened by a bolt B1 and a nut N1, so that the spherical body 28a is held by the holder-side recess 13 and the retainer-side recess 22. The bolt B1 and the nut N1 fastening the retainer 21 and the mirror holder 12 are fastened via a collar K1 through which the bolt B1 is inserted.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
