Abstract

To provide a control device for a vehicle that is able to separately set the reduction rate of the drive torque according to responsiveness and controllability.SOLUTION: The larger an amount of change in an accelerator operation amount from a point in time when an accelerator returning operation is performed to a current point in time, the larger a reduction rate of driving torque at a time of decreasing toward a required value of the driving torque is set. Thereby, when the amount of change in the accelerator operation amount is relatively great, the reduction rate of the driving torque is set to a relatively great value in accordance with a scene in which prioritizing responsiveness is likely to be desired, such that the driving torque is quickly reduced. Meanwhile, when the amount of change in the accelerator operation amount is relatively small, the reduction rate of the driving torque is set to a relatively small value in accordance with the scene in which prioritizing controllability is likely to be desired, so the driving torque is gradually reduced. Therefore, the reduction rate of the driving torque can be separately set according to responsiveness and controllability.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
