Abstract

To provide a conversation apparatus which promotes natural conversations without passengers feeling uneasy.SOLUTION: A conversation apparatus 220 for supporting conversations between passengers of a vehicle comprises: cameras 131, 132 for image-capturing a first passenger and a second passenger of the vehicle; display units 51, 52 for displaying the image of the second passenger captured by the cameras 131, 132 relative to the first passenger; a detection unit 221 for detecting the speech and gaze of the first passenger; and a control unit 223 for displaying the image of the second passenger on the display units 51, 52 while the gaze and speech to the display units 51, 52 are detected in the detection unit 221.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3A
