Abstract

To provide a tab capable of further preventing re-contact of a blowout location even if overcurrent flows and a fuse blows out, and a battery module.SOLUTION: A tab 1A comprises: a tab body 10 including a first tab part 11, a second tab part 12, and a connection part 13 connecting the first tab part 11 and the second tab part 12; and a thermal expansion member 20 in contact with at least the first tab part 11 and the second tab part 12. A direction in which the first tab part 11 extends toward the connection part 13 is defined as a Y direction, a direction in which the second tab part 12 extends toward the connection part 13 is defined as a Z direction, and a direction which is vertical to the Y direction and the Z direction is defined as an X direction. A dimension L3 of the connection part 13 in the X direction is smaller than a dimension L1 of the first tab part 11 in the X direction and a dimension L2 of the second tab part 12 in the X direction. The thermal expansion member 20 includes a first contact face 21 in contact with the first tab part 11 in the Z direction and a second contact face 22 in contact with the second tab part 12 in the Y direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
