Abstract

To provide a technique capable of determining whether an abnormality occurs in a pump without providing a dedicated sensor.SOLUTION: A fuel cell system may include a fuel cell, a hydrogen gas supply path that supplies hydrogen gas to an anode of the fuel cell, a pump that sends off-gas discharged from the anode of the fuel cell to the hydrogen gas supply path, a pressure sensor that measures the pressure in the hydrogen gas supply path, and a control device. The control device may obtain the amplitude of a frequency component corresponding to the drive frequency of the pump from time-series data of measurements taken by the pressure sensor, and determine that an abnormality has occurred in the pump when the obtained amplitude is below a threshold value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
