Abstract

To embody behavior of synapse plasticity by a neuron circuit.SOLUTION: A neuron circuit comprises an electric charge accumulation circuit, a leak current generation circuit, a spike generation circuit, and a threshold control circuit. The electric charge accumulation circuit accumulates electric charges corresponding to a synapse current based upon an input voltage spike corresponding to ignition of a neuron. The leak current generation circuit adjusts the amount of the electric charges accumulated in the electric charge accumulation circuit by generating a leak current by the use of a threshold-variable transistor. The spike generation circuit generates an output voltage spike based upon the amount of electric charges. The threshold control circuit controls the level of the leak current by controlling a gate threshold voltage of the threshold-variable transistor responding to the generation of the output voltage spike.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
