Abstract

To provide a chain that can reduce wear of a guide member.SOLUTION: An inner plate (10) of a chain comprises a back surface in contact with a guide member for guiding the chain when the chain is driven. The back surface of the inner plate comprises sliding contact arc parts (102a and 102b) in sliding contact with the guide member, end part arc parts (101a and 101b) including an end part on one side of the inner plate, and connection parts (C1 and C2) connecting the sliding contact arc parts and the end part arc parts. A gap (V) is formed between a common tangent (TL) to the sliding contact arc part (102b) and the end part arc part (101a), and the connection part (C1).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4C
