Medical equipment management apparatus and method for controlling the same

Abstract

To provide a medical equipment management apparatus and a method for controlling the apparatus capable of improving at least one of the problems of the existing technologies related to message transmission to an administrator regarding a medical device to be managed.SOLUTION: The management apparatus determines whether or not an event that should be notified to an administrator has been detected for a medical device. When an event to be notified to the administrator regarding the medical device is detected, the management apparatus transmits a first notification to the administrator, and after transmitting the first notification, the management apparatus transmits a second notification to the administrator. The timing of transmitting the second notification is based on the frequency of times at which the administrator has accessed the management apparatus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5A
