Abstract

To provide a speed detection device capable of suppressing sudden change in a calculated speed due to missing of a pulse or an excessive input.SOLUTION: An attitude angle detection device 100 is provided with a control unit 30 for calculating speed of an object 1 to be detected based on a period of a pulse transmitted according to the speed of the object 1 to be detected. The control unit 30 determines that the pulse is missing when a period of a current pulse is greater than or equal to a predetermined multiple of the period of a previous pulse, calculates the speed of the object 1 to be detected based on the period of the previous pulse. The control unit determines that the pulse is excessively input when acceleration based on the period of the previous pulse and the period of the current pulse is equal to or larger than a predetermined acceleration threshold value, ignores the current pulse.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
