Component loading device and component supply unit

Abstract

To provide a component loading device capable of preventing reduction of productivity caused by component shortage by supplying a component in appropriate timing, and a component supply unit.SOLUTION: A component loading device comprises: a loading head which picks up and loads a component BH onto a substrate; a loading device control section which controls operation of the loading head; a feeder 16 including a component storage section 51 in which the component BH is stored, a conveyance path 31 which is connected with the component storage section 51 and conveys the component BH to a component takeout position 16T where the component BH is picked up by the loading head, and a component supply mechanism 32 which performs component supply operation that is operation for supplying the component BH in the component storage section 51 to the conveyance path 31; and a feeder control section 33 which controls the component supply mechanism 32. A loading device control section 17 outputs a component supply command signal for starting the component supply operation, and the feeder control section 33 controls the component supply mechanism 32 on the basis of the component supply command signal which is outputted from the loading device control section 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
