Numerical control device and numerical control method for machine tool

Abstract

To shorten time required until a tool magazine is stopped after a power failure is determined by preliminarily executing deceleration of the tool magazine before the power failure is determined.SOLUTION: A numerical control device and a numerical control method for a machine tool are provided. The machine tool includes a tool magazine that stores a plurality of tools. The numerical control device can execute acceleration / deceleration processing for executing acceleration / deceleration of the tool magazine, determination processing for determining whether or not voltage is equal to or less than a threshold during the acceleration / deceleration, first change processing for changing target speed of the tool magazine to specified speed between maximum speed and stop speed when it is determined that voltage is equal to or less than the threshold by the determination processing, and second change processing for changing the target speed to the stop speed when voltage remains equal to or less than the threshold until prescribed time elapses after it is determined that voltage is equal to or less than the threshold by the determination processing.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3B
