Abstract

To provide an information processing device with which it is possible to estimate density from the imaged data of meal simply with good accuracy.SOLUTION: The information processing device includes a recognition unit 12 which, regarding the imaged data of meal content including spatial data and image data, applies recognition processing to the image data and thereby recognizes each individual food item constituting the meal content or a meal composed of multiple food items. The information processing device further includes a density estimation unit 31 for estimating density corresponding to the recognized food or meal by referencing a database 32; and a weight estimation unit 41 for loading volume information of the food or the meal as spatial data in the imaged data corresponding to the recognized food or meal, and estimates the weight of the recognized food or meal by using the estimated density and the volume information.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
