Abstract

To provide an electrosurgical device and a method that provide rotation adjustment of an electrosurgical electrode, related to a method and a device for transmitting electric energy.SOLUTION: An electrosurgical device includes: a housing defining an internal bore; a shaft connected to the housing; and an electrosurgical electrode connected to the shaft. The shaft extends from the internal bore of the housing to a distal position. The shaft is fixed to the housing in a rotation direction. The shaft includes a smoke exhaust channel extending from a proximal end portion of the shaft to a distal end portion of the shaft. A distal portion of the electrosurgical electrode extends from the shaft to a distal position. The electrosurgical electrode is rotatable with respect to the housing and the shaft.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
