Abstract

To provide a toner that achieves both excellent hot offset resistance and prevention of image defects caused by accumulation of mold release agents on a cleaning blade part, even in a high-speed machine designed for a POD market.SOLUTION: A toner has a toner particle containing a binder resin and a mold release agent W. The toner has a glass-transition temperature Tg of 70°C or less. The binder resin contains an amorphous resin A. The amorphous resin A is polyester and has, as structures forming a polyester skeleton, (i) a polyethylene terephthalate structure part and (ii) a unit having a predetermined structure. The mold release agent W is ester wax. The SP value of the amorphous resin A SPA, the SP value of the mold release agent W SPW, the ratio of an EG structure in the amorphous resin A WEG, and the ratio of (ii) the predetermined structure in the amorphous resin A WCH satisfy predetermined relationships.SELECTED DRAWING: None
