Graphic display of radiotherapy

Abstract

To provide an appropriate graphic display of radiotherapy.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for providing monitoring of radiation delivery during a radiotherapy delivery session and a graphic display of radiation delivery to an operator (e.g., a clinician, a medical physicist, and a clinical radiologist). In these graphics, radiation irradiation data is collected by a radiotherapy system, and, at the same time, updated in real time. Some variations are updated every 15 minutes or less than 15 minutes. The status of radiation delivery with planned radiation delivery as a reference can be shown using various graphic displays ("graphic"). As needed, the method includes a process for calculating an acceptable range of a metric value, a process for generating a graphic indicating the range of an acceptable metric value, and a process for generating a graphic shown by overlaying real time values of the metrics on the range of the acceptable metric value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1D
