Abstract

To provide a highly safe molded motor and an air conditioner having the same.SOLUTION: A molded motor includes: a plurality of winding wound around each of a plurality of teeth via an insulator; a plurality of pins to which an end of a corresponding one of the winding is connected; and a printed circuit board in which a plurality of through holes through which the corresponding one of the pins is inserted are formed. In the printed circuit board, a pin inserted into each through hole or winding connected to the pin is connected to an electrode of the printed circuit board by solder. The through hole includes a first through hole 426a and a second through hole 426b, and the pin includes a first pin 460a inserted into the first through hole and a second pin 460b inserted into the second through hole. Difference between a maximum thickness of the first through hole and a maximum thickness of a first portion 460aa of the first pin disposed in the first through hole is greater than difference between a maximum thickness of the second through hole and a maximum thickness of a second portion 460ba of the second pin disposed in the second through hole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11
