To provide a power management system and a power management method that establish both of using hydrogen in a planned manner and performing adjustment of a power supply plan in real time and stably.SOLUTION: A power management system 10 comprises demand amount prediction means 111 for calculating a power demand amount planned value, power generation amount prediction means 112 for predicting a renewable energy power generation amount, hydrogen power generation planning means 113 for creating a hydrogen power generation plan, storage battery plan creation means 114 for creating a storage battery plan on the basis of the power demand amount planned value, the renewable energy power generation amount, and the hydrogen power generation plan, demand prediction means 121 for calculating a demand prediction value on the basis of actual data associated with power consumed on the demand side during performing power supply, and corrected plan creation means 122 for updating the storage battery plan on the basis of an imbalance adjustment amount, a difference between a demand prediction value in one unit period of a plurality of unit periods and a prediction value of a power actual demand amount in one unit period of the power demand amount planned value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
