Abstract

To provide a transformer which is capable of easily and quickly charging a mobile device that can be autonomously controlled by AI control and that can operate even in outdoors, and further which is capable of transmitting power to a power receiver moving on a one-dimensional, two-dimensional or rotating system plane.SOLUTION: There is provided a split transformer performing non-contact magnetic coupling power transmission by placing a coil 5 and a core 2 on a primary side and a coil 6 and core 3 on a secondary side to face each other, a non-magnetic or soft magnetic cover 8 being fixed so as to straddle both poles of each core. Since a gap portion between the cores is thin, magnetic resistance is low, and further, when a soft magnetic material is used, the magnetic resistance can be reduced furthermore even if the material has a low relative permeability. Power is transmitted by bringing covered cores on the primary side and the secondary side into contact to each other during use. By adopting such a structure, high efficiency power transmission can be achieved, and further, since the cores are tightly attached via two thin covers, magnetic leakage to the outside can be reduced and high power transmission can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
