Abstract

To appropriately prevent a covering tool body from coming off without affecting a performance required of a puncture needle.SOLUTION: A puncture needle 1 includes a needle tube 2, a needle base 3 that supports a base portion of the needle tube 2, and a covering tool 4 that covers a needle tip 21 of the needle tube 2 after use. The covering tool 4 includes a covering tool body 41 that can cover the needle tip 21, a slide support portion 42 that slidably supports the covering tool body 41 along the needle tube 2, a locking part 44 that locks the covering tool body 41 to a needle base 3 side before use and allows a sliding operation of the covering tool body 41 according to the release of the lock after use, and a connection member 45 that connects the covering tool body 41 and the needle base 3, and expands and contracts according to the sliding operation of the covering tool body 41.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
