Abstract

To provide a user with a concrete damage situation by a disaster in the past.SOLUTION: A river information system includes observation data accumulation means, photograph data accumulation means, archive generation means, and data display means. The observation data accumulation means accumulates maximum past observation data including a maximum value of observation data observed in an observation station when a disaster occurred in the past and date and time information on a date and time when the disaster occurred. The photograph data accumulation means accumulates photograph data including a photograph showing a damage situation when a disaster occurred in the vicinity of the observation station and a photographing date when the photograph was photographed. When new photograph data is accumulated in the photograph data accumulation means, the archive generation means associates the new photograph data with maximum past observation data indicating a date and time approximate to the photographing date and time included in the new photograph data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
