Abstract

To provide a method for re-clamping an electrical-mechanical parking brake system for a vehicle.SOLUTION: A method includes: determining whether re-clamping for a first electrical-mechanical brake 102 is necessary; allowing the re-clamping to control operation of a lock device 102-4 of the first electrical-mechanical brake to release the lock; pressing at least one brake lining 102-2 of the first electrical-mechanical brake against a brake disc 102-1 of the first electrical-mechanical brake with predetermined force using an electrical-mechanical actuator 102-3 of the first electrical-mechanical brake; and controlling the operation of the lock device of the first electrical-mechanical brake to lock the at least one brake lining of the first electrical-mechanical brake while pressing the brake lining against the brake disk of the first electrical-mechanical brake.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
