Abstract

To provide an electronic commerce system and a method thereof which support an electronic commerce having a plurality of processes.SOLUTION: The present invention is directed to an electronic commerce system 10 for managing an electronic commerce between a buyer manufacturing a product through an entire process including a plurality of processes and a supplier receiving an order of each of the processes from the buyer. The system has: an electronic commerce DB server 14 for associating, for each of the processes, a process number capable of identifying the process and specifying dependence of processes, identification information for use in identification of the entire process, a contractor of the process and a contractor code indicating a delivery destination site to the contractor with one another to store electronic commerce data in which information for use in management of the electronic commerce is registered; and an AP server 12 functioning as a commerce processing unit for managing, based on the electronic commerce data, an order of each process, shipment and reception.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
