Abstract

To provide a water treatment chemical concentration management apparatus and a water treatment chemical concentration management method capable of suppressing contamination of an optical window without using accessory equipment for physical cleaning.SOLUTION: There is provided a water treatment chemical concentration management apparatus 10 that manages a concentration of a water treatment chemical containing a fluorescent substance in a water system. The water treatment chemical concentration management apparatus 10 includes control means that performs control such that excitation light is irradiated to a measurement target liquid containing the water treatment chemical through an excitation light emission unit 16, and the excitation light in a fluorescence sensor 12 that receives fluorescence from the measurement target liquid through a fluorescence light receiving unit 18 is intermittently irradiated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
