Abstract

To provide a radiation detector, a radiation detection device, and a radiation detection method capable of detecting high-energy radiation ray with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A radiation detector includes a semiconductor radiation detection element that is plate-like shaped and has a first flat surface having the largest area. A surface intersecting the first flat surface serves as incidence surface for radiation ray. Length of the semiconductor radiation detection element in a direction orthogonal to the incidence surface is larger than length of the semiconductor radiation detection element in a depth direction orthogonal to the first flat surface.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
