Abstract
The present disclosure relates to a membrane prepared from a blend comprising i) polysulfone, polyethersulfone or polyarylethersulfone and ii) polyvinylpyrrolidone, the membrane being coated with polydopamine and chondroitin. Optionally, the coating further comprises heparin. The present disclosure further relates to a method for producing the coated membrane, a method for increasing the selectivity of the membrane, and a filtration / diffusion device comprising the membrane, which can be used, for example, in hemodialysis applications.
