Sequences and methods for the production of recombinant biomolecules in vesicles

Abstract

Methods for expressing biomolecules and components of recombinant expression systems for expressing biomolecules are described. In particular, isolated vesicle nucleating polypeptides (VNps) comprising amphipathic α-helical polypeptides derived from the amino termini of synuclein isoforms and their variants are used to promote, enhance or increase the formation of vesicles in expression systems to enable purification of biomolecules.
