Abstract
A bioreactor system is disclosed that includes a plurality of pods. The pods are suitable for culturing and maintaining biological samples. Each pod is comprised of a housing and a biological sample container removably disposed within the housing. The biological sample container includes an interface element that provides fluid communication with the biological sample container. The plurality of pods are arranged within the bioreactor system. A method of culturing an organism using the bioreactor system and a kit of parts for forming the bioreactor system are also disclosed.
