Abstract

A method performed by a user device to establish a secure connection with an application entity in an enterprise network. The method includes sending an establishment request to a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) entity, receiving an establishment response from the application entity when the SASE entity permits the establishment request and determines to permit a Generic Bootstrapping Architecture / Application Key Management for Authentication (GBA / AKMA) platform to share a session key with the application entity, and establishing a connection with the application entity based on the session key.
