It is important to note that whenever there is a significant gas-phase concentration gradient, such as ambient odorless air, the degree of fragrance dilution in the air is strongly correlated with the distance from the fragrance source at which the evaluation is performed.

[0006] Fragrance trails are often referred to in both patent literature and scientific publications, but there remains a gap in the published art regarding the relationship between performance at a distance and the fragrance components or fragrance harmonization that elicit such performance in terms of their olfactory dose-response characteristics. It is often necessary to select materials and methods to improve the trail performance of a fragrance. In many fine fragrance markets, trails are an important consumer need and are often essential. Thus, trail performance is becoming an integral part of fragrance success.

[0008] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The following aspects of the disclosure seek to address one or more of the above problems.

2. The fragrance composition according to claim 1, wherein the at least two components of group A are present in an amount of 4% to 95% by weight, typically 5% to 80% by weight, and more typically 6% to 70% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition.
