Abstract

An extraoral imaging device (2) comprising a support (4) provided with a mouthpiece (9) defining a mouthpiece opening (17), and an image acquisition device (5) attached to the support and comprising a camera (35) for acquiring at least one image of a dental scene visible through the mouthpiece opening (17); a display device (3) comprising a screen for displaying an image representing the scene acquired by the image acquisition device; wherein the image acquisition device comprises an additional screen and / or support defining an imaging chamber (15), and the image acquisition device is at least partially, preferably entirely, housed within the imaging chamber; an imaging kit (1) is disclosed.
