Abstract

A method for preparing a dental prosthesis is disclosed. The method includes performing a first scan of a plurality of scanable temporary abutments each having a respective scanable member disposed on a respective dental implant. The method includes performing a second scan of a provisional prosthesis disposed on the plurality of scanable temporary abutments each having a respective scanable member. The method includes generating a model of a final prosthesis based on the first scan and the second scan using computer-aided design CAD software.
