According to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure, by an apparatus, determining a basic score of a network entity, the basic score indicating an importance of the network entity in a network, and by the apparatus, determining a dynamic score of the network entity, the dynamic score indicating at least a security incident occurred in the network entity, and by the apparatus, determining a threat score of the network entity based on at least the basic score and the dynamic score, and by the apparatus, determining whether to perform an operation associated with the network entity based on the threat score, a method is provided.
