Abstract

Devices, systems, and methods for applying a bioadhesive material to the inner surface of an eye, such as the retina, can include an outer sleeve having a proximal end, a distal end, a passage extending along the length of an elongated body, and an opening at the distal end of the elongated body, an applicator tip including an elongated body having a proximal end and a distal end, an applicator portion coupled to the distal end of the elongated body, and a material supply conduit extending along the length of the device through which the bioadhesive material can pass such that the bioadhesive material can be applied to at least the applicator portion of the applicator tip. Some embodiments of the device can also have a source of bioadhesive material in fluid communication with at least the material supply conduit.
