Abstract

1. A capture device comprising: a plurality of substrates, each substrate having an inlet separated by an outlet along a flow path through the substrates; a fluid inlet in fluid communication with the fluid outlet through a plurality of flow channels disposed therethrough, each of the plurality of flow channels having a flow channel length; and a sorbent disposed on or within at least one side of at least a portion of at least one flow channel; wherein the plurality of substrates are arranged along the flow path such that the fluid outlet of a first substrate is in fluid communication with and immediately precedes the fluid inlet of a second substrate, and the fluid outlet of the first substrate is separated from the fluid inlet of the second substrate by a space having a spacing distance.
