Control setting priority for network control repeaters

Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a communication device, a scheduling device, and respective methods for the communication device and the scheduling device. For example, the communication device includes a transceiver and a circuit. The transceiver, in operation, (i) receives a signal to be relayed and transmits a received signal, (ii) transmits or receives a control signal, and (iii) receives relay configuration signaling. The circuit, in operation, (i) obtains a plurality of relay configurations from the relay configuration signaling, each relay configuration being applied to a signal transmitted or received by the communication device, and (ii) determines, for a time interval in which the two or more relay configurations overlap, to apply one of the two or more overlapping relay configurations to the signal transmitted or received by the communication device, and, in operation, determines, for the time interval, to apply a relay configuration with a highest priority among the two or more overlapping relay configurations.
