Abstract

A recombinant fusion protein, as well as compositions and uses thereof, is provided, which comprises an interleukin-2 mutein and an antigen-binding fragment for serum albumin. Due to its increased in vivo half-life, the recombinant fusion protein has the advantage of a relatively long administration cycle. Due to the selective activity of the recombinant fusion protein against regulatory T cells, the recombinant fusion protein can be effectively used for the treatment of various immune diseases and inflammatory neurological diseases, including inflammatory bowel disease and systemic lupus erythematosus.
