Abstract
Coarse positioning systems for use in positioning a robotic surgical device, each such system can have a positioning ring, an arm base operably coupled to the positioning ring, an arm assembly operably coupled to the arm base, and a device clamp operably coupled to the arm assembly. Another embodiment includes a support arm having an adjustment device coupling a horizontal rod to a vertical rod and a rail mounting device coupling the vertical rod to a surgical table.
