Steering wheel with metal alloy rim and mounting inserts

Abstract

To provide a steering wheel having a rim portion with a metal frame, which can be easily assembled with an attached branch, and which has an improved service life. The vehicle steering wheel includes a hub connected to a steering device of the vehicle, a rim portion (10) configured to be gripped by a driver to steer the vehicle and having a metal frame (13), and a branch (30) connecting the hub to the rim portion (10). The metal frame (13) includes a body and an insert (15) at least partially embedded therein and including an interface (19) for attaching the branch (30) to the rim portion (10). The steering wheel (1) also includes an element (14) for attaching the branch (30) to the rim portion (10).
